On Apple devices

Things the iOS app can do that a browser cannot.
- Widgets put your day on the Home Screen and Lock Screen, and a running Focus block in the Dynamic Island.
- Siri and Shortcuts let you add tasks and ask questions without opening the app.
- Apple Watch covers the watch app and its two complications.
- Reminders and Calendar covers migrating from iOS Reminders and adding an event to your calendar.
Everything else in these docs works on both iOS and the web.
Why these matter
Section titled “Why these matter”Most of what is here is about the gap between having a thought and getting it into Marvelist. Opening an app, finding a list and typing takes long enough that things get forgotten. A widget or a Siri phrase closes that gap.
