Profile and email
Profile
Section titled “Profile”Edit your name and add a profile photo from Profile in the app. Your photo is what other people see on shared lists, in comments, and in the presence avatars showing who is currently viewing a list.
Worth setting if you share lists with anyone. It is much easier to tell who assigned what when people have faces.
The Profile screen also shows how long you have had the account, your storage usage, your Premium status and your unique user ID. Support may ask for that ID; nothing else needs it.
Your email address cannot be changed
Section titled “Your email address cannot be changed”Your email address is your Tophhie Cloud sign-in identity, and it is fixed. Marvelist cannot change it, and there is no longer a “change email” flow in the app.
If you have an older version of Marvelist that still shows one, it will decline with a message saying the address is managed by your Tophhie Cloud sign-in.
This is a consequence of how sign-in works now. The address is the credential you authenticate with rather than a contact detail Marvelist owns, and the copy Marvelist keeps is only a mirror of it, used for notifications and for showing you who you are signed in as.
If you genuinely need the address on your account changed, contact support rather than looking for a setting.
Your name
Section titled “Your name”Your name comes from the same place. Change it in your Tophhie Cloud account via Profile → Manage my account; see Tophhie Cloud Account.
Older Apple, Google and Microsoft accounts
Section titled “Older Apple, Google and Microsoft accounts”Sign-in with Apple, Google and Microsoft is legacy. If your account predates Tophhie Cloud accounts it may still carry one of those identities, but new sign-ins use Tophhie Cloud and that is where your details are managed.
Signing out and devices
Section titled “Signing out and devices”Signing out, signing other devices out, and reviewing where you are signed in are covered in Devices and sign-ins.
