Password and sign-in methods
Everything here is on the Security page.
Changing your password
Section titled “Changing your password”Enter your current password, then your new one twice, and save.
Your new password has to meet Tophhie Cloud’s requirements. If it does not, you are told which rule it failed rather than just being refused.
You may be asked to confirm your identity partway through, particularly if you have not signed in recently. That is expected. Changing a password is exactly the action worth protecting.
Sign-in methods
Section titled “Sign-in methods”Sign-in methods lists the ways you can currently get into your account, and lets you add or remove some of them.
Adding an email method sends a code to that address to confirm you own it. Enter the code and the method is added.
Removing one is immediate, so check what you are removing before you confirm.
Sign-in methods are also what multi-factor authentication uses to reach you, so keeping a second one on the account is worth doing even if you never use it to sign in.
Signing out everywhere
Section titled “Signing out everywhere”Sign out everywhere ends every session on every device, including the one you are using.
Use it if you have signed in on a device you no longer have, if you have lent someone a device, or if you think somebody else has been in your account. Change your password first in that last case, otherwise whoever it is can simply sign back in.
You will need to sign in again afterwards. Sessions on other devices can take a short while to actually stop working.
Recent sign-in
Section titled “Recent sign-in”The Security page also shows your most recent sign-in, as a quick check that nothing looks wrong. The full list is on the Sign-in activity page.
